Born in 1928 in the municipality of Vilanant, he was the founder of the Drawing and Painting School of the Casino Menestral Figuerenc. He began his artistic career at the age of 16 studying with the watercolorist Ramon Reig, making his artistic debut in a collective exhibition in Figueres in 1947.

His artistic evolution was reflected in his constant experimentation with techniques and forms, creating works that mixed influences from Cézanne and Abstract Expressionism. He founded the group “Pintors Abstractes de l'Empordà” and participated in numerous exhibitions.

Although his life was short, his impact on Catalan art was significant, standing out for the innovation he brought to the contemporary art of his time.
