This pictorial work was born from the rediscovered appreciation for the poetry of Joan Salvat-Papasseit. From the intensity with which the poet took on his work, as if he knew that he did not have much time and that life must be lived with the greatest possible fullness.
The rereading of his poems, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth, and in recent times and now on the centenary of his death, has stimulated the artist in the creation of this pictorial work.
If you know the pleasure, don't spare the kiss
that the joy of love knows no bounds.
Let yourself be kissed, and you kiss later
that it is always on the lips that love endures.
Don't kiss, no, like the slave and the believer
but as a pedestrian at the fountain given;
let me kiss you -fervent sacrifice-
the hotter the more faithful the kiss.
