He was born in Centelles, province of Barcelona, in 1976. He has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (1999) and a Diploma of Advanced Studies for the Doctorate in Painting from the same university (2002).
Drawing and painting teacher at the Centelles School of Arts since 1999.
He held his first solo exhibition in 2000 at the Capella de Jesús de Centelles. Since then he has produced numerous monographs, the most notable of which are: GALERIA MONTCADA (BARCELONA, 2003), Sala Parés (Barcelona, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2015), Galeria Anquin’s (Reus, Tarragona, 2005, 2008, 2011 and 2018), Km7 Espai d’Art (Saus-Camallera, Girona, 2005 and 2014), Jorge Alcolea Arte Contemporáneo (Madrid, 2006), El Marçó Vell Art Center (Centelles, 2007) and at the Nolde Gallery (Navacerrada, 2007), Palau de l’Abadia (St. Joan de les Abadesses, Girona, 2011), Tempe Romà (Vic, 2012), Mas el Cerdà (Centelles, 2019), the Albergueria (Vic, 2022) and the Fornells-Pla and Conxa Sisquella Foundation (La Garriga, 2023).
He obtained first prize in the “V Doñana Landscapes Painting Prize” (Almonte, Huelva, 2000), Reus City Council trophy in the X Biennial Young Painting Competition (Galeria Anquin’s and Generalitat de Catalunya, Reus, 2002), first prize in the LXI Centelles Prize Painting Competition (Centelles, 2003), third prize in the XLV Young Painting Prize (Fundació Banc de Sabadell and Sala Parés, Barcelona, 2003), first prize in the “XI Malón de Echaide Painting Prize” (Cascante, Navarra, 2005), prize in the “Jésus Bárcenas Painting Prize” (Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real, 2008), prize in the 4th Figurative Painting and Sculpture Competition (Fundació de les Arts i els Artistes, Barcelona, 2009), medal of honor in the “XIV BMW Painting Prize” (Madrid, 2009), first prize in the XLVIII Ynglada-Guillot International Drawing Competition (Barcelona, 2010), second prize at the “Air Force Awards 2010” (Madrid, 2010), prize at the “XI Verge de les Vinyes Cultural Competition” (Tomelloso, Ciudad Real, 2012).
