Description of the work
The composition of the painting is set in the city of Fez, in Seffarine Square, capturing a moment of the day when coppersmith artisans work with copper to manufacture all kinds of objects for daily use.
Through the observation of the scene and its photographic representation, the artist raises several questions about the possible coexistence between the technological and artisanal worlds in the future, the current point in which humanity finds itself both globally and individually. These reflections emerge from the indisputable fact that we are biology and culture.
The work invites the viewer to make a conceptual reflection on the current world and contemplate its future projection.
